Young people in Leeds get caught up in the Breeze this summer
Breeze Leeds is back this summer with its brand new Breeze Pass, providing young people with access to all the best events and offers across the city.
The Breeze programme, part of Leeds City Council, ensures that children and young people aged 0 to 19 have plenty of activities to keep them busy during the summer holidays and beyond.
This year, the council has worked with Leeds based KISS Agency and young people from across the city to breathe fresh air into Breeze, ensuring that families get the maximum benefits from it.
As part of the exciting glow up, young people can now access a digital Breeze Pass on the new Breeze app.
The pass will allow young people to access early bird tickets to Breeze events, keep up to date with the latest offers, exclusive discounts and VIP opportunities.
A Breeze Pass costs £5 a year but is free for those who are eligible for free school meals.
This summer also marks the return of Leeds’s much-loved Breeze in the Park events. Twenty parks across the city will each host an event featuring inflatables, opportunities to get creative in an arts zone, or just a chance to relax and make happy memories with new friends.
To get all the information on this summer’s Breeze schedule or to get your hands on a new and improved Breeze Pass, visit www.breezeleeds.org or download the app by searching Breeze Pass Leeds in the Apple or Google Play app store.
Councillor Fiona Venner, Leeds City Council’s executive member for adult and children’s social care and health partnerships, said:
“We want Leeds to be the best city for children and young people to grow up in, so I am delighted that our fantastic Breeze activities are back this year and the Breeze app is a great addition to the service. We work incredibly hard to ensure that our city is inclusive and Breeze ensures everyone is able to get involved with summer festivities and celebrate how wonderful it is to grow up in Leeds.”
