Theatre’s heart-warming panto love story is a real family affair

This Christmas, Leeds pantomime legend Jez Edwards will be taking to the stage at The Carriageworks Theatre alongside his beloved wife Gemma, 14 years after they first met performing in the very same production.

Open-air symphony spectacular welcomes 80s legends back to Leeds

Play it cool this Christmas as Ice Cube returns to Leeds City Centre
The popular Ice Cube at Christmas will once again be bringing some winter magic to Millennium Square, Victoria Gardens and Cookridge Street this festive season.

Light switch sees cities swap stunning cultural creations
A unique arts exchange project will see Europe’s cultural capital send a dazzling light installation to Leeds this week.
For this year’s spectacular Light Night, Leeds and Timisoara in Romania will each host stunning illuminated artworks created more than a thousand miles apart in cities both enjoying landmark cultural celebrations.
Timisoara is a current European Capital of Culture for 2023, whilst Leeds has spent the past year showcasing the best of its arts, culture and heritage during Leeds 2023.

Dream a little dream of Leeds as Light Night returns
The streets of Leeds will transform into a dazzling dream world next month when the exciting spectacle of Light Night Leeds returns.
The two-night cultural event will be back on October 12 and 13, illuminating some of the city’s most recognisable buildings, streets and spaces with a compelling programme of more than 50 arts installations.
