The old eight-lane running track at Temple Newsam is set for a complete refurbishment after Leeds City Council and the running community of East Leeds receives a £15,000 grant from the Movement Fund.

Visitors to Lotherton can join the herd this summer and get a rare, up close look at the estate’s stunning resident red deer.

Leeds City Council has once again received the prestigious Green Flag award for seven of its parks and green spaces, including Golden Acre Park, Kirkstall Abbey, Middleton Park, Otley Chevin Forest Park, Pudsey Park, Roundhay Park and Temple Newsam Estate.
