Road users are being urged to plan ahead for the final stages of the Lawnswood roundabout improvement scheme, with essential carriageway works taking place throughout August and into early September.

Leeds City Council has released new visuals showing how Dawsons Corner will look once major upgrade works to the busy junction are complete. The improvements aim to reduce congestion, improve safety and create better routes for all road users on this key gateway.

The Otley Bridge footway reopened to the public on Thursday (20 November) after an extensive demolition and re-construction of the cantilever footway.

Over four weeks starting on Monday 28 July 2025, road repairs and resurfacing works will take place on the Stanningley Bypass, as part of the £44.179m Dawsons Corner and Stanningley Bypass improvement scheme.
